Tim Rogers is back, says ACAB and regales us with a six-hour molecular teardown of one of the most adorable, beautiful, emotional, and curiously overerlooked games of the PSX.

Tim Rogers is 40-something, looks 16, and talks like Christian Bale playing Batman.

But I'll be damned if I don't watch this whole fucking thing.

He's also led a pretty fucking amazing life what with working for Sony in Japan, becoming friends and colleagues with Kojima, playing in an inde band, all while being an absurd workaholic who still finds time to read more books in a year than I've read in a decade and play through long games multiple times to completion just for the sake of getting good footage

I think the shin chan game is the closest thing we have to an oficially translated bokunatsu game, right? i'll probably end up getting that at some point

He does mention the Shin-chan game, although apparently there's a Bokunatsu TL in the works for the PSP remaster of the game

he don't miss. i still haven't figured out if his having perfect recall of his entire life is a bit or not.

edit: okay he misquotes a movie while showing the footage that shows the correct words, as if daring us to question it so as far as I'm concerned the jury's still out

I don't even care when he stops talking about the games he reviews -- I just get completely stuck in listening to his endless anecdotes
