We're taught that after the war the Nazis vanished without a trace

But batallions of fascists still dream of a master race

The history books they tell of their defeat in forty-five

But they all come out of the woodwork on the day the Nazi died

They say the prisoner of Spandau was a symbol of defeat

Whilst Hess remained imprisoned and the fascists they were beat

So the promise of an aryan world would never materialise

So why did they all come out of the woodwork on the day the Nazi died

The world is riddled with maggots--the maggots are getting fat

They're making a tasty meal of all the bosses and bureacrats

They're taking over the board rooms and they're fat and full of pride

And they all came out of the woodwork on the day the Nazi died

So if you meet with these historians I'll tell you what to say

Tell them that the Nazis never really went away They're out there burning houses down and peddling racist lies

And we'll never rest again until every Nazi dies

When we all get to hang out this will be a fun campfire song

Vaguely related, but saying "x isn't fascist" because it lacks one or two of the features of ur-Fascism is no longer a valid or useful argument. Fascism is a phenomena of the 20th century, but we lack a good accepted term for it's 21st century spawn. That will be. Amatter for historians who come after us. For now fascism is a sufficient term in most cases for discussing the politics of the right.

Whether or not to label something fascist seems like an argument to have while you're already stopping that thing. If that discussion needs to be had it means the thing is already bad and the debate is over whether it's the worst.

Being vigilant about fascism is good and a part of thst is stamping out its roots before they can form, if this kind of conversation is even on the table it means we got some fascism brewin

I've posted and reposted them several times. Crust punks never stoppedloving chumawamba, they're the band kids that really wanted to hang with that early scene and fucking earned it. Them getting big with a song was a controversy in the diy punk scene at the time until the air was cleared a few years later when they admitted they kinda ended out getting the better deal fro. The record company as a one hit wonder that could have only worked in the 90s when levels were blindly scooping the underground to redo Nirvana and they got sm exploitable deal. I can email any of them at will if anyone wants proof they aren't rich, I've never met em but they're friends of a friend

Finding out they're Dee from it's Always Sunny's in cannon favorite band in Chardee MacDennia was an interesting character moment thar I'm certain the writers didn't get. I'm a Simpsons dork and listen to Talking Simpsoms which is chapo adjacent and when a later episode had tubthumping in it they chose that song to comment that whoever they praise a British band they tun out to be sketchy and didn't wanna say anything. They do a lot of research generally and could look up.these guys?

This isn’t even the first time this song (absolute banger) has been posted here.

It's still kinda there... I meant you should remove everything after the question mark, including the question mark, sorry

It's just concerning cuz Google uses this to group people together and find out where people are sharing their links

Maybe I should write a bot that points this out and prints the link without any tracking components

Oh, just do it yourself then

Greater rant: people who fucking care about opsec, this isn't an op and your sec is already compromised or meaningless if you think posting here is dangerous you're wrong

Bigger: I'm really sleepy and cranky and had people telling me to do dumb shit thst is against their own greater interest all day and they're probably right
