Is porn addiction real? Is "Death Grip" real? I see a lot of people talking about these like they're real thing but I'd always thought they were made up by Catholics and Mormons to shame people out of masturbating. And then "NoFap" formed out of the miasma of religious trauma and poor sexual health education and things just kind of mutated and spread. Any thoughts? Preferably with studies by atheists to back them up?

People can get addicted to anything. Masturbating feels good, so I'm sure some people are addicted to porn. If you've ever cancelled plans because you'd specifically rather stay inside and watch porn, that's probably a problem you should take up with a psychiatrist.

Masturbating too much and too hard can make it hard maintain an erection from the soft parts of people that you normally fuck. It'll go away after a few days of reduced masturbation, not grabbing it so damn hard, or just using lube when you jack off.

"NoFap" is a nazi cult designed to make people feel ashamed of themselves for masturbating.
