yep and it's one of the easier ones to explain. the only rebuttal you can get is some unhinged shit like "the communists were trying to conquer the world" or "defending western civilization/Christianity/etc". anyone who considers themselves "reasonable" only needs to think about it for a bit or even better just show them stuff from the soviet archives before their brain starts short circuiting
