The fun part is that he's canonically an atheist in a setting where God canonically exists

Which one was that from? I like how he alludes to having a blessed AK of +1 in another appearance.

I'm rereading the series while also listening to The Shrieking Shack and it's wild how utterly different Butcher problematic is from Rowling Problematic

Books and 2 desperately need that rewrite he keeps procrastinating on. Noir inspired isn’t an excuse for misogyny

If he's removing misogyny the whole series needs a rewrite lol

True, but the first two are the worst. I think mirror mirror goes to a reality that has Harry go evil to save Susan which implies that the fridge moment was necessary and uhhhhh that makes it worse

He still has no sense of Chicago geography, but now has street names.

Oh got Sanya was a Trot? I stopped reading the series bc I couldn't stomach the cop shit with Karin anymore, and because it had gone in to terminal grimderp at some point with everything just getting worse and worse so late in to a mature series. Like Karin was slowly decoupling from the police, but both factors together was too much and I was sick of it.

Butcher is constantly caught between compulsive copaganda and the inherent coolness of being in trouble with the law
