2 dollars on alibaba for the metal version of this :porky-happy:
20 cents each for the silicone version
Even bougie ass department stores are getting in on the drop ship grift
I want a version that can also plug into my phone so they don't run out of battery.
I liked "handy woven", which tries to trick people into believing it is hand woven.
i still use wired earbuds and sometimes people make fun of me for it but then there's shit like this
i dont understand people
It's even more useless than it seems at first glance because you can't put them into the case
Air pods have really been the harbinger of our current era, I think it was during 2016 that they announced they would be getting rid of the headphone jack going forward, and the brought out these stupid things basically on election day.
Like I remember how people were making fun of Apple for getting rid of a function that worked fine and people generally liked, so they could sell you another $250 gadget and charger in order to listen to your phone. But they forced this change on us and now every phone is like this and I have to get a dongle to keep using my headphones.
I used to feel the same about serial ports, no lie. It was even worse because there wasn’t a single method of doing usb to d-sub that worked all the time back then.
Now it’s a million times better, but I used to have a drawer full of dongles for specific purposes/pieces of hardware.
How tf do people lose these things?
They come with a little case you put em in when they’re not in your ear!
My co worker has lost 5 sets, he flushed them the other day. I think people just suck at holding onto things.
They will literally have to remove every single hole from the surface of a phone before I go for wireless headphones, my experience is every single wireless thing I have tried has lasted at least 1 year less than its wired equivalent, and been less convenient and reliable to boot.
The fact that anyone accepts this or any other deliberate cashgrab by Apple is insanity
