    Bipolar disorder tends to get worse if you get older without medication. It can be pretty manageable in your late twenties and early thirties if you get the "I'm going to do a lot of work very quickly" kind of mania and don't have really severe delusions or end up doing extremely risky behavior. But the longer you go without medication, the more severe and more frequent the episodes tend to get.

    If you're also super rich and surrounded by yes-men then you're dealing with the insulating bubble of being around rich people, and also the injury to empathy that comes from being that rich. It really doesn't sound like a good combination.
