I had what I assume is BA5 just recently and I can assure you, the real thing is much worse. It lasts several days longer and is no less brutal than the worst of the vaccine, in my experience. (I haven't had the new booster yet, though, and now I apparently have to wait 3 months to get it, according to a doctor.)
