Solar is awesome, especially in comparison to fossil fuels, and I'm glad to see China (and other countries) building as much solar as they can.

That being said, solar is really not a good long-term solution to our energy problems. Solar has many negative environmental impacts, and even worse human rights impacts. I think we're gonna have to take more seriously our over-consumption and overuse of energy if we want to have any chance of saving this planet. Solar is good, but it's barely even a band-aid on a gaping wound.

Would be interesting to see this leveled out for either area or population.
