I actually like when stuff I like is 10+ years old. I don't know, it makes it feel legendary or deserving of respect if people still remember it and enjoy it. I like remembering stuff from 20 years ago and seeing how it led to now, seeing a progression of time like that is kinda fun to me. Like with Gurren Lagann, that show was pretty instrumental in creating Studio Trigger.

Like sometimes I feel that getting older is like gaining time travel powers. I see younger people go through similar stuff to what I did, or events repeat themselves or little jokes or sayings re-emerge. Constant feelings of :seen-this-one:

Don't be sad, it'll be ok

I feel bad cause I never did anything with that time. I was a 400lb NEET until the age of 25, and the only memories I have of those years are people I knew moving on with their lives & stale memes. :deeper-sadness:

I've been telling people that when their birthday comes they should just lock the doors and pull the shades down and pretend not to be home. Aging is bullshit. Don't do it.

I dressed as Kamina for a Halloween party. That was 2011. Yeesh.
