Just woke up and I'm not totally sure if this is the right video or not but IIRC the world he built doesn't work on like, a general level and a huge part of it is his obsession with both explaining everything, and also wanting to jerk himself off over aesthetics, leading to a world that's very confident in how much it doesn't function.
Notice how many le 40k people are in the comments defending the idea of space empire without any hint that they understand that 40k was (originally, anyway) supposed to be satire and show a failing system that makes most of its populace suffer and die horribly.
Shocking that a Science Fiction community based on a Heinlein knock-off has a huge amount of the fash. :shocked-pikachu:
