Most of the weed you'll come across is a hybrid of sativa and indica plants, they're almost nonexistent as clearly seperate species nowadays. But strains differ in THC to CBD ratio, which means the highs are different, and the ones with lots of THC and little CBD get called sativas while the strains with a more balanced ratio get called indicas.
