    I'm guessing the mechanism for having feeding right at the very rear of the receiver is just too complicated and finicky.

    I'm also not sure if this really avoids the trigger issue, it never went past the prototype stage so there aren't exactly any detailed reports on its ergonomics, but I would assume it would suffer from similar issues since the trigger is connected to the actual firing mechanism by a long bar,
