    Absolutely, that's why I think collaboration between leftists would be key in any sort of succesful western left movement, not that this guarantees safety from the state in any way. I think there is a lot of strategic potential in collaborating that we tend to overlook due to disagreements on theory of the state.

      Yeah i don't know why this is not even examined, the only "modern" anarchist theorist i saw who engaged in good faith with marxism is Daniel Guerin.

      Though the antiglobalist movement in the early years was successful with having both communists, succdems and anarchists protesting with force against institusions like the WTO as well, that goes to show what happens when leftists are not going at each others throats at least for a few years.
