I think this is the first election in my life I've been 1000% checked out for. I don't know shit about shit and it feels nice. Been really stressed out lately, not caring how badly the Dems get their asses beat is a load off ngl

same here. the bernie primary was the first, last, and only time as an adult i had any emotional connection to the results.

material conditions are degrading no matter what, neither party gives a fuck.

the anti-LGBTQ rhetoric and stirring of violence won't be checked by dem majorities because they don't care and have no actual capability of stopping it. there was a story i heard recently about one of those "infamous" drag shows recently threatened by the usual chuds stirred up by carlson. cops or laws didn't keep them at bay. cops didn't care. instead it was the rightwing grillpilled father of the gay organizer and his gun-toting redneck friends looking out for people they cared about doing security. :hst-gun:

lesson is, being strapped and organized beats the :vote: . and fox news brain evaporates when you are defending family and friends

I'm paying attention to my state's elections because there's a ballot measure to protect abortion rights and the Republican gubernatorial candidate is full-fledged maga. Other than that, I don't care what happens.

Same here. I was at least guided by :john-brown: to vote against slavery in the state constitution.

Well, this race was supposed to be a blowout in favor of republicans, but abortion means it's gonna be approximately a wash. That never happens 2 years after a president starts.
