Capeshit, but I'm very :deeper-sadness: about this. Him and Mark Hamill were a huge chunk of my childhood and by far the best variety of capeshit in the past 30 years.
I also just now learned he was gay and did a gut-wrenching comic about how it influenced his Batman.
That comic he did was so wonderful. Given the obvious reality that so much of Batman's fandom is made of cis hetero white dudes I'm sure he was nervous about how it would impact people's perceptions of him and his tenure as Bats, and having grown up online since the late 90s I have no doubt even just a decade ago the online discourse would have been absolutely painful and embarrassing to witness.
Him being comfortable to come out like that in a very public way and the overwhelming response from the fandom being so positive...it actually does give you a bit of hope.
