It's interesting to see what Marx talked about happen in real time. It's easy for a liberal (even if John Oliver tends to be slightly to the left of the hegemony, I'm also speaking of the entire machine that produces the show) to criticize the monarchy because their material interests are totally at odds. Capitalism supplanting feudalism, etc.
