Disregarding her role as bazinga space money destroyer in chief, there are a lot of people on twitter making disgusting comments about her appearance. It's a very sober reminder that misogyny is still extremely real, and that even people who have no excuse not to understand at least the basics of feminism will still judge women heavily based on their ability to conform to socially enforced beauty norms, as well as associating beauty with virtue and goodness.

Like shaming people for their appearance, disability status, or for mental or chronic illness is already gross, but doubly so when it's directed at women and femmes generally. People see how they're treated and internalize that.
