Uh...Shen Yun is a front organization for Falun Gong. You know, the crazy cult.
They hate the CPC because back in 1999 or so they gathered 10,000 people in the plaza across from Zhongnan Hai, the CPC leadership compound. All they had to do was bring ladders and baseball bats and they could have ended the Party right then and there. The security forces were completely surprised by the action. What wasn't a surprise was the reaction - a violent suppression of Falun Gong. The leader fled to the US where he has cowered ever since.
