The disastrous implications of lifting Zero-COVID in China

The objective laws of viral transmission mean that any shift away from a Zero-COVID elimination strategy carries with it the potential for the situation to quickly spiral out of control.

    They are lifting zero-Covid because it’s not possible to exist in isolation forever and the rest of the world will never achieve zero-covid. There’s no choice here at all, it has to be lifted eventually
