The disastrous implications of lifting Zero-COVID in China

The objective laws of viral transmission mean that any shift away from a Zero-COVID elimination strategy carries with it the potential for the situation to quickly spiral out of control.

    You have to accept that there will be negative consequences to the global failure to fight COVID. Failure has consequences, otherwise it wouldn't really be failure in the first place. Going back in time and somehow making all the world governments coordinate action isn't an option. Completely isolating from the rest of the world where COVID is running rampant is not a viable long term solution. Thems the breaks, it's just acknowledging reality.
