Absolutely shocking, one of the greatest upsets in World Cup History.

Argentina is the reigning Copa América champion with a 36 game winning streak and the second highest betting odds to win it all for what may be Messi's last international tournament.

And they lost to Saudi Arabia a team with a World Cup record of 4-11-2. Historic choke

he is the best french player imo and france is one of the scarier teams this year, so him not being there is a big win for us, just a lot of football brain going on during the world cup, every brazilian shares the same football brain cell during the world cup

Not just best French. He won the balodor like a month ago. He's the best player period, this year

the best french player comment was more of a "somehow people think Mbappé is already there , and he is not there yet" sass than a comment on Benzema he rules

There’s still Giroud dude. He must more important than Benzema, the latter just not fit with the team compare to the former

we can't have everyone who is good out like games have to be fun and not having him is a bit of a loss he is a older player and just real good baller, and there are some real defensive teams every time on the world cup poland loves to do it, so does everyone in the balkans, so a really good individual player could decide the game on a long 0 - 0 match

Yea, I get it. But French is much more balanced without Benzema since he operates in the same space that Griezmann operates.

We were convinced the goalie took out one of his own men to burn through some of the stoppage overtime.

Backfired on them, since it extended out to a full 14 mins overtime.

Mexico played well against the big dogs recently. Probably the best 0-0 draw vs Brazil and straight up beating Germany. I like their chances

Yeah same and fuck yeah, think Mexico's in with a chance of breaking out of the group stage?

Ask me again in a few hours. They're in with a better chance now than they were.

Yeah, reading up on it, it sounds like it may be a slog of a match. If the predicted lineup pans out, its seem Poland's going to pack it's midfield to keep the heat on Mexico's side of the pitch.

That defender who defended the would be goal while the goalie was out, legendary.

Best defensive play of the tournament

He headed the ball halfway across the field. It was so hype.

It should be the defensive play of the tournament so far! That Saudi goalie was on fire!

I want Messi to win it all but that was entertaining i love world cup upsets!

Yeah I sure didn’t go into that match a Saudi fan, but by the end of it I was on the edge of my seat for them.

Everyone talks about the goals they got, but that goalie saved tens times as many of Argentina’s from going in. The Daigo Parry of this World Cup.
