Why would you invite someone back into your discord that you banned a year ago just to constantly harass them and provoke arguments to the point they are telling you it makes them sick and want it to stop - and just keep intensifying from there. Where is the logic in that?

they're talking about two different days (for people so obsessed with me they sure do miss a lot)

last day-1: I was asked about something Chomsky said years ago, someone extrapolated or misunderstood that to current events. It has been days of “hey cranston what do you think of x, y, z” and people turning any answer into a fight.

last day: the arguing that had resumed when I left wasn't even about what you're asking, it was one particularly deranged and hatefilled user just concocting elaborate fantasies about me that they seem to need to make themselves feel like a victim of what they have imagined to justify their abusive behavior

When someone is imagining things that haven't happened and feeling persecuted by what they have imagined and lashing out because of these feelings of persecution prompted by what they have imagined we are leaving the realm of any sort of political disagrement or any sort of misstatement or foot in mouth on my part and entering mental illness. And the rest of the discord lets that go on and encourages that person for a laugh. I'm expected to just listen to this and put up with it and I anything I say could say will be taken and twisted I could say purple monkey dishwasher and it will just be deconstructed and analysed and added to their rhetoric, and god forbid I should get frustrated or say anything negative back.

I literally do not care about any of that. Answer the question.

He'll say he's against it and then go on the same free speech thing he did on discord.

The same way I do any other sort of biggotry. I am particularly disgusted that what is going on in the US is very cynically being driven by powerful interests in order to motivate the voting base they depend on, all those harping on about PrOtEcT kIdS seem to be on the payroll of the Kochs or similar so they can get into office and then serve their interests.

Regardless of your opinions, this type of behavior is absolutely demented. I believe I know who this user is, and they are extremely toxic. I'm with you here. I'm glad I never post in the Discord, mainly because of deranged users like this.
