Of course right wingers never imagine themselves at the bottom of whatever hierarchy, but to understand their behavior it's important realize that they also don't generally imagine themselves at the top of the hierarchy either. They want to lick the boot and have someone else lick their boots in return. It's an ideology about people "knowing their place," and that includes themselves as well as whatever oppressed minority.
That's the version of their ideology that best predicts their behavior. It rarely predicts their rhetoric though; they'll just say whatever looks good for them in the moment.
