    This is how it's always been. We were here living our lives as they tortured innocents in Abu Ghraib, shoved children into cages at the border, droned Iraqi kids, bombed Yugoslavia, dropped napalm on Vietnamese villagers, razed North Korean villages and spread anthrax to them...

    At least the horror is out in the open now. It can't be denied by reasonable people without the blindfold of ideology on.

      It was out in the open in the 60's too, though. It only led to a more bleak era of repression. We just have to hope that another 90's doesn't come in to save the powers that be

        Majority of people didn't care about the war crimes back then and in fact supported them. It's a bit of a different story now considering democratic staffers are sweating about election results. Don't think any of them were too concerned back in the day. Seeing how they protested the war and nothing changed then turn around to support more wars, then millennials faced the WOT and protested and nothing changed then turned around to support more wars, I'm curious how this one will fare out in the future.
