6pm Netherlands-Qatar (Group A)

6pm Senegal–Ecuador (Group A)

10pm England–Wales (Group B)

10pm :amerikkka: – :khomeini: (Group B)

This is the political showdown match we've been waiting for. It's endlessly amusing to me that those two teams got picked against each other. Hexbear should livechat it or something.

Ecuador-Senegal is also a decider in that group

Note the start times. Scheduling is different from previous days, idky.

Iran's sustained way too much pressure, not surprised they conceded. Should try and keep some possession instead of just playing it long.

USA looked the better team in the first half

The US midfield is actually really fun to watch. Yunus Musah is a beast. The US just doesn't have a quality striker who can score, which is why they will forever be able to get out of the group stage and then immediately get bounced in the knockout round.

Still wondering why Ricardo Pepi didn't make the squad inspite of being inform in the Eredivise.

It was already such a young team, adding another 19 year old was probably too much. They already have Musah, who turned 20 today, and Reyna, who just turned 20, on the squad. The US might be in a position to be really competitive in 2026. Not sure how the rest of the world is going to react to a truly world class USMNT. My guess is not well.
