That level of organization seems to have only worked in Oregon because of the large number of militias operating there, which I don't think holds for most of the rest of the US. Their checkpoints only lasted for the duration of the wildfires, also. I'm not saying there's no way for these power outages to result in some kind of fascist uprising, but it would take way more effort, organization, and manpower to do it, and it likely wouldn't even last as long as the CHAZ farce did.

edit: also, in rural areas, they're really only going to be harassing other conservatives just trying to live their lives. Checkpoints isn't really a winning strategy, it's just doing things they've seen on teevee without any next step planned.
