Did any of ya'll read Nintendo Power back in the day? There was a (I presume official) Super Mario comic that ran in it for a while, I don't remember much about the plot but the one image that burned into my under-ten brain is Princess Peach wearing Luigi's overalls throwing bombs at Koopas.

My point is interpretations of Peach have always kinda leaned in this direction, precisely because it's a funny contrast to how she comes off in the mainline Mario games.
