    I love seeing someone fight for their grips, unbalance their opponent, change levels to begin a graceful seo nagi throw, and then get punched in the face.

    The only non-sambo trained fighters that have a chance in the near future UFC are gonna be the top level wrestlers.

      You think? I mean, it's clear that the dagestani guys have something that everyone else doesn't have, they have incredible pressure that made chuck's bjj completely useless. But even so, I think a solid BJJ base will continue to be very effective in order to win the belt

        I'm talking out of my ass, keep in mind. I'm just a mediocre wrestler and bjj bro. But, I think that pressure really shuts down the bjj guys, and the pressure comes from having wrestling instincts.

        I feel like a good top wrestler minimizes the transition openings a lot of bjj guys depend on.
