    It's also fundamentally grounded in cooperation instead of competition. I feel like that's a big underlying aspect on why the community for the game is generally so friendly

      Lol half the posts on the DRG subreddit are tips on how to approach game tasks more efficiently or more fun-ly. It's like the kind of shit you see in trade school manuals.

        I hit a brick wall with deep dives and elite deep dives, and level 5 or higher; I don't know what the issue is but I can't play at that level and have no interest in figuring it out. There was a brief golden period where I was able to hang with the Russian teenagers and Koreans- when the mod scene had popped off big time but the company hadn't incorporated them yet. So effectively I was just cheating my balls off with quality of life mods. Being a gunner with infinite ammo is a massively different experience, and some of the most fun I've ever had. I came back a year later and it's all integrated now, which was a super cool move of them.

        The first 90% of the game was just incredible, up there with valheim in top video game experiences ever.
