I haven’t grayed much yet, but I always had my hair long. Then one day, I noticed it was getting so thin that when it was pulled back into a ponytail, half my scalp was visible, so I cut it short, and that seemed to have helped a bit, less stress from the ponytail… or so I thought. Now, it’s thinned out even more, AND I’m getting massive widows peaks. I’m trying to decide whether to go Jason Statham and keep it hella short, or go full Nick Cage and just comb it back. I’m not much older than you. It only really sucks because my hair was really my only piece of my looks attached to my identity, and it was one of the only connections I have to my culture.

My little brother on the other hand, his hair is thick as hell, but he was half gray by 25.

On the plus side, gray hair is hot on young guys and girls. You can rock it!

I find that sort of romanticizing healthy, personally. Vindication of and physical reminders of the struggles you’ve been through. Like a scar that you can look at to remember a fight for justice. ✊
