It's an electric folding bike, which is cool as a concept.

But also it breaks in half so often literally every one got recalled.

The battery is also the seatpost and if you're small enough, it pokes out it's tube downwards. Which is obviously a great place to be for a lithium battery, because they're very safe when damaged or pierced.

Oh also it's made out of magnesium. Which is probably why it breaks in half, but it does have the added bonus of the frame igniting once the battery starts burning.

Not my forté, unfortunately, and you don't need to be an expert to know "Breaks in half, easily flammable" is sort of a bad design.

I'd argue a good bet would be something from a local bike shop and a reputable bicycle manufacturer, it's not like there's super stark differences here once you cleared the bar of "building a functional e-bike".

The LBS is mostly for maintenance, I think if you're a bit mechinaclly inclined a regular bicycle is basically just levers, cables and screws, e-bikes get a bit tougher. Don't wanna ship your entire E-Bike off when the motor has an issue, basically. Will cost a bit more compared to buying direct online though.
