Most people's political ideologies are completely incomprehensible. Just say you believe in a political system that prioritizes care for the most vulnerable over perpetual economic growth. Most people who don't have :brainworms: shrug and say that sounds nice. If she can't bring herself to agree to even that, cut her loose, you deserve better

This girl is far out of my league i would crawl through broken glass to join a Klan rally just for her. I deserve nothing.

Even if this is a bit, it’s fucking disgusting.

It’s a joke but she’s way more charming, personable, and witty than I am.

“my self-esteem is low so I would be racist for someone I’m romantically/sexually interested in.”

            A pretty low bar.

charitably, this is meant to be taken sarcastically since OP said that they're dark skinned in the post body and the implication is that that plan would obviously not work out

it doesn't sound like you're "falling for" them but that you're horny and they're an option because they're interested

Obviously they're attracted to the combined fearlessness and empathy that inherently comes with being a good leftist

"So you say you want a rural life where you hide from the authorities, preferably in the mountains somewhere, you like long walks, marches even, AND you love guns?" :mao-wave:

I feel ya brother. Been out of the dating scene for a minute but when I was I also consistently wound up matching and attracting libertarian types.

To be honest I sort of get it. I think there's probably some combination of things about how I present that gives off the impression that I'm the kind of dude who would be super into crypto or something.

My best advice is keep putting yourself out there. Eventually a raging feminist powered by pure hardcore misandry matched with me if only to amuse herself by dunking on a mediocre white guy...and instead wound up making me her personal Himbo. Approaching two years together and it was well worth the wait.

Definitely a race fetish. They hate non-whites but secretly want to be dommed by them. Probably stems from daddy issues in a poor, rural household.

Same thing with many anti LGBTQ bigots whether it's trans and gay people and so on . One shouldn't exaggerate and in a way let those folks of the hook by saying they all just have repressed sexuality that bursts out in the form of social pathology but it really do be like that sometimes . The evangelical rich preacher caught on Grindr or the alt right guy absolutely thirsting over some trans women cause they binge trans porn is definitely a thing lol.

Fetishizing and secretly thirsting over the object of bigotry are cornerstones of oppression. The next step is too subtly shame them until they have to violently crush their object of desire, too “cleans” them off their shame. I don’t how earnest this attractions is really tho.

I dunno, in my experience the vast majority of people's politics are literally just "other team bad" with "other team" being equal to "whatever my parents voted for." People where I live seem to change their entire ideologies every time they get a new boyfriend, I swear.

Attraction comes first. Relationships are built on that through a long process of establishing trust and understanding.

It doesn’t matter what your respective politics are, and is especially important that politics aren’t a deal breaker, since you occupy the fringe.

Of course if you don’t want a relationship and just wanna bang it out with someone in a leather jacket get into your local music scene.

That’s the problem. I don’t just want sex with this person im insanely attracted to, I want her to be my best friend forsome odd reason knowing full well she would vomit if she knew my politics. Textbook infatuation, i know. Can these relationships even last?

Seems like an open and shut case. Let them know your politics. Maybe even get a sick leftist tattoo, I swear the average chud hates tattoos even more than those icky poors.

        Yes of course they can.

Idk anything about you, but consider your cohort (whomstsoever they may be): how have their politics changed over say, the last few years? Do you think they’ll stay where they are or change more?

Don’t worry about the politics part. Most people havent thought much about their politics and only know it as a fight they have with people on the other team (whatever team that is).
