it has been reported that he will go to florida later today, which i imagine will happen as he will lose the political legal immunity on the first when lula becomes the president and federal police has already sent stuff to the supreme court saying that he did do crimes when he said that the vax would give people AIDS and other crimes so leaving seems like the move for him, but his supporters are SO MAD about it, GRANDE DIA

there is, it is a really big one, the exceptions are if you are a national citizen, (the brazillian constitution explicitly forbids this so they couldn't add it to the treaty) and brazil does not extradites foreigners for political crimes or opinion crimes ( same thing, also on the constitution) so he is cooked on this one

"Good will prevail" as he sniffs his way through his final speech

Yeah, sorry about that. It must be rough on you that good is prevailing after all the shit you heaped on Brazil. Tough luck, pal. All that nasty "good" coming out on top.

Considering he had widespread support in the country, even from liberals and he won a "free and fair™" election, they don't have very good excuses to coup him before he's even taken office.

Give it a few months of him being in office and they'll turn some random thing he ends up doing into him being a "dictator".
