COVID increases heart attacks amongst the young. Am I wrong that this is unprecedented? Honestly I'm not sure. People in the comments of the video were saying that the hit didn't look bad.
Edit: MFer, people are saying in the YouTube comments that the vaccine caused this!
Very much not unprecedented in sport in general. Mostly heard about it in kids’ playing baseball.
So, I remembered a news report from when I was a kid in, like, 1991 about Commotio Cordis happening a lot in Peewee Baseball and lo, they haven’t really done much about it taking out kids in little league sports:
I'm thinking this may be long covid related. Even for the NFL, this sort of this is pretty unprecedented (I think).
I mean taking a helmet to the heart is never going to end well, just looks like a really unlucky collision

I tried to google if the injured player had COVID previously and all I got was chuds saying that the COVID vaccine caused him to collapse. So yeah...
Often the worst hits don't look that bad in contact sports, because it means that all the energy has been absorbed and gone into the body.
I don't watch NFL so I don't know what's normal with regards to a helmet in the chest/heart tackle

Ya that's what I'm thinking. There's probably more than a 50% chance that he got covid more than once.
I think it's pretty early. Whatever the reason, we're not going to know for a day or more.
