Pizzagate was literally just a bunch of people digging into financial connections and shit, all the "Hillary Clinton is personally eating children in the basement of comet ping pong" shit came after they banned the subreddit. Fuck people were only talking about that guy because of 1) he's weirdly connected in DC, 2) numerous weird pedophilic "jokes" on his instagram (i.e. a pic of a baby that isn't his with a bunch of pills/money, or the pic of a little girl with her mouth taped shut and her hands taped to a table...) 3) frequent references to pedophilia in the live music there. All that came before any talk of some made up basement
