    I think I saw someone on twitter argue that Semen Hitler, which was this guys name, was a slightly weird way to latinize a cyrillic name, and if you were using the modern system to latinize it, it would probably be either Semyon Hydlyr or something close to it. But apparently Adolf Hitler's family also had a slightly weird spelling to their name, since it was Hitler's grandfather or father that changed the family name to Hitler.

    One of Adolph's American cousins was in the US army as a medic in Europe or so i'm told.
