"The bill creates protections for such data" is kind of a ludicrous throwaway line to end on, considering the broader ramifications of tracking pregnant women with abortion becoming more severely curtailed and threatened
But sure yeah, the US government, federal or state, has never done anything malicious with otherwise benign data before
It's about abortion. The fetus is a person so it counts for the purposes of carpooling.
I think Virginia is a blue state, so it's meant to be a "see how silly you look?" thing. But outside of a few redditors I can't see anyone really disliking this lol.
