None of the spicier peppers are as flavorful as a jalapeno though.
(Very few less-spicy peppers are, either. I can only think of shishitos.)
You'd be surprised how many people don't know! I only learned when I tried growing them for the first time, the seed package even showed green ones lol
yeah and it really amps up the jalapeno and all it takes is a nickel's worth of lime juice, salt, and sugar

I think my favs gotta be in pickled veggies, or blackened and put in hummus, but they really are great in a ton of stuff
One exception: Dominos bacon and jalapeno cheesy bread. I always order without the jalapenos.
ONLY BECAUSE said jalapenos aren't in satisfying slices like you would think: They're instead chopped up into little itty bits for some reason. Way worse texture and mouthfeel.
