You can’t lie? Can I take this to mean you are a strict Kantian that subscribes to absolute categorical imperatives?

I am shocked to learn that you would not lie to the Gestapo officer at the door in order to prevent the deaths of the Jews you are sheltering. I personally find this strict adherence to your moral code admirable regardless of the consequences, but I am more of a consequentialist of course.
