I think I'm legally obligated to say oak on account of being a dryad. I like those massive redwoods, and cherry blossoms are pretty but the fact that the cherries are inedible is just kind of fucked up.
On that note I think I'd have to go with plum trees for the fruits. I like pines just cause their needles smell good.
Not my favorite, but I have a grudging respect for tulip poplars. Those things grow QUICK. And flowers are pretty.
Favorite is the sugar maple because syrup is my jam.
I also thought about maples. It does strike me as kind of weird to say I love a living creature because of how I can cut it open and consume its insides to its detriment.
However you're right maple syrup is great so I do like maple trees for that :chad:
