I think I'm legally obligated to say oak on account of being a dryad. I like those massive redwoods, and cherry blossoms are pretty but the fact that the cherries are inedible is just kind of fucked up.
On that note I think I'd have to go with plum trees for the fruits. I like pines just cause their needles smell good.
Birch. Common, pretty pattern, burns well, gets weird and bendy when exposed to harsh winds.
I was thinking of birch as well! They're very simplistically pretty I think. They don't need any flashy flowers or anything, they're just nice :quokka-smile:
