i dont have much nice to say about u/liberalsocialist so i wont say much, but their presence here was entertaining and ill miss having their posts that were rich with comments

our loss of u/ides_of_merch however is a true tragedy. i was always so excited to see their BMF-esque posts, they were perfect. they got banned for sectarianism but i think it was a misunderstanding :(

There was a good portion of time where I legitimately believed they were a ChatGPT bot. However, my current hunch is that they were a Destiny redditor, probably not ever a wrecker, but too young and too online to actually know anything, because there were multiple instances where somebody would point out that many of the the topics they posed were on the Destiny subreddit a couple days prior to being posted here. There is also a strong possibility that they were a Hasan redditor, as they carried a great obsession with posting about how cool and important Hasan is.

Definitely not a current/former CitationNeeded listener, Chapo listener, 4channer, nor a former resident of r/cth.

It's definitely a good question and a reason that, imo we should be allowed to have those off-topic conversations and meta-comments in those threads. Why not actually use those 'drama' threads to discuss that kind of stuff, where the algorithm pushes 'everyone' to see it? But I digress into possibly bannable material. To get back to the question you posed, pretty much what is, generally, agreed on by the PPC (PowerPosterConsensus) is that Parenti has uncontroversially the best takes on the nature of neoliberalism, communism, imperialism, fascism, and the nature of propaganda. I'd even go so far to say as even most of the anarchists on here agree with the majority of what he says. If there is one thing we agree on its that social democracy is basically the left-wing of fascism. As such, I'd basically say spam Parenti at them until they either leave or read it and ask questions about it.
