France's hardline CGT union has threatened to cut off electricity supplies to lawmakers and billionaires before a nationwide strike on Thursday, in an increasingly acrimonious showdown over the government's plan to raise the retirement age.

I should add this is no empty threat: on top of cutting power to large swathes of (non critical / non health related and the like) the energy network during strikes in the past, unions (mostly the CGT and Force Ouvriere) have selectively cut off power to local offices of congressmen from Macron's party in the past.
