Yeah that's the thought that fucks me on this one, the dog must have been scared, confused and alone.
There was another person in the truck to console the dog.
Fuck you're right, "what's happening with my best friend"
I'm literally crying
Been seeing a lot of "jokes" like this about actual tragedies, from a community that should know better. I feel like I spend too much time on the internet, but I'll console myself with the knowledge that my sense of empathy and sympathy isn't as broken as some of the other hexbear commenters.
This thread and the one about the slaughterhouse worker dying are the bleakest I've felt about this place in a while
Keeping the safety on is for liberals, but even worse: keeping the rifle unloaded until your in the field is for commies
And not pointing your gun at your dick and balls? That's for bloodthirsty bolsheviks
Dogs kill a couple of people a year this way. I wonder if they kill more people than sharks.
Hunters can get fucked. There is little that is morally defensible about killing sentient animals (directly or indirectly, I might add) to eat their corpses unless it's an actual survival situation. Worse, they consider such murder a hobby.

Yet here you are cheering on the death of a human being for your own entertainment.
on the internet nobody knows you're a dog, but I still think it's pretty unlikely your interlocutor pulled the trigger.
irresponsible gun owner, i think we're assuming the guy was a chud.
that or this is some 19th century shit and they got rid of the family pedo and small town pigs are in on it.
Safety on and never travel with the weapon loaded. Do they not teach hunter safety course any more?
Kansa Hunter Dies Due to Poor Gun Safety.
Shame someone died but this is absolutely why you do not relax around firearms. Dude had a loaded rifle pointed at him and then just left it in the area of an animal with no concept of the danger.
All guns are always loaded.
Never let the muzzle cover anything you are not willing to destroy.
Keep your finger off the trigger until your sights are on the target.
Be sure of your target and what is beyond it.
the Seppos really need background check and gun safety exams
Reminds me of that scene in Plague Dogs. That's a good movie if you're feeling too good about life and want to change that.
The story so depressing that the author eventually wrote a follow-up where a passing fisherman saves the dogs and everyone is okay
The movie kind of implied they found an island to live on, if I remember right. Might have been an after credits thing. They swim into the fog and the fog fades to reveal an island.
