      It's wagyu. That's what wagyu is. It looks like peppermint candy. Cooked...well yeah it's like a big piece of gristle. No idea why people claim to like it so much. Probably because it's expensive. I've had this stuff before...meh. GImme a sirloin anyday. It has actual meat, i.e. muscle tissue. If I wanted to eat a big piece of gristle I'd eat it.

      selective breeding for wagyu beef to look exactly like that ^^^

      Never had this. Not only cant aford it i wouldnt even know were to beging looking for it.

      Now i try to eat less meat. But back in the day i used to grill a lot. But in the place were i live the cattle is basically feral. So it is ver lean and underfeed. But once in a while they kill a fatter one. So before covid i used to go ti every butcher in town (small rural town i walk, cant drive) to see if they got one of the fat ones. The fat melts and the more marbled it is the softer it is and the better it tastes.

      But i never found one like the op. It looks awsome.
