    I dont doubt that they honestly believed they were going to overthrow the government. But what do you think their chances for success ever were?

      Pretty darn likely. They had backing from several sectors of capital, but it was ersatz and done at the last minute.

        Pretty darn likely? What happens when the National Guard comes and mows them down? You think if they got into the building and hanged Mike Pence that they would have control over the country and everyone would have to bow down to them?

        Why would they use idiots who try to climb a wall with a set of stairs inches away from them to launch a serious coup to take over the country?

        Half of them smeared their own shit all over the interior walls. Even if by some miracle every person in Congress burst into flames and died on Jan 6, do you think corporations would start taking orders from them?
