FE4 - Genealogy of the Holy War is among the more questionable ones. You have to pair your army up in act 1 so that you have the best kids to use for your characters in act 2. There's characters descended from legendary hero bloodlines that are just objectively better and can use the OP hero weapons.
The story also features an incestuous villain that's abducting and sacrificing children to gain the power of an evil dragon god.
It's a weird ass questionable game, but it's really fun and I can't recommend it enough to fans of the genre.
