I wonder if any chuds read the Ciaphas Cain novels, as they remember that Warhammer is supposed to be satirical. Basically, a rich kid who is a commissar, who completely rejects the imperial way of life. Not because of principle, but because of him wanting to live the easy life. And because he does nothing horrific, he does not end up reviled, but ends up being seen as the quintessential hero of the Imperium, revered probably at the level of a Primarch.
