I wear a mask but I’m basically the only one I know. And the people I live with don’t wear one at all so I am 100% confident my wearing it is literally pointless.

I see some people outside with masks but it’s those disposable/surgical ones that we know don’t do shit against covid. At that point just don’t wear one lol. I don’t know even if N95 is good enough now but it’s the one I wear.

I wear masks in shared indoor spaces (like stores and stuff), but not just when walking around outside, unless it's particularly crowded (I'll put a mask on if I'm walking past a bus stop or whatever).

That sounds like a reasonable middle ground to me. How’s it going for you so far?

I've had two colds* in the last two years, and no covid. One cold came from my one friend who's a disaster. The other cold was a total mystery, and may actually have been from outdoor transmission.

*Things that present as cold-like symptoms for 3-5 days, not necessarily the common cold. Could be an actual cold, the flu, unnamed crud, covid but my tests went false-negative, allergies. I dunno.
